Chuckwagon Breakfast ... a jeep ride down into
the canyon , with cowboys and cow characters ( ! ) A great
breakfast, a cool morning, and an awesome morning!
Horseback Riding.... hey, we ARE in cowboy country!!!
Afternoon .... Jeep Tours of the Canyon
This was a high point for all who boarded the jeeps and headed down, and UP, the
bumpy roads of the canyon.  We saw things you just wouldn't be able to see by car!!
"TEXAS"... the performance that was the reason, and the highlight, of our trip!  A
musical filled with history and songs, with the walls of the canyon as an everchanging
backdrop.  And who can forget the lightning storm!!!!
The DRIVE HOME .... a slight detour on I-45, formerly known as Route 66 took us to Groom,
the home of the 190 ft cross and the life sized statues portraying the Stations of the Cross.  Very moving.

We passed the PartyFish cars... and did everyone see the camel ranch???
